The school staff, members of the governing board, and students have evaluated and reinterpreted the school's vision, values, and aims over the 2018–19 academic year.
Each group in this body of work dissected the Church of England's Vision for Education as a starting point and investigated what the fervently Christian vision meant, with the promise of "life in its fullness" made by Jesus at its core.
We also looked at the four main pillars of the Church of England's vision to help our conversations and assessments of the vision, values, and aims.
The school's vision prior to the evaluation process was "At Warter School, we learn, grow, and accomplish together."
Using this as a starting point, staff members talked and decided that the job of the school went beyond only the students.
The governors, parents, employees, and kids then concentrated on a verse from the Bible that would encompass our ideas. "
Through our shared commitment to upholding the Christian principles of hope, perseverance, friendship, and respect, we at Warter School are laying a firm foundation for students to learn, develop, and succeed.
It is crucial to base every area of our school's work on Christian values.
The school has effectively emphasised the virtues of friendship, respect, and hope, but after staff and student input, it was decided that perseverance should be added as well.
We determined that hope, perseverance, respect, and friendship are the school's Christian values as a consequence of our conversations and the needs of our kids at school.
The love and fidelity of God serve as the foundation for Christian hope.
