This enables us to provide a broad and balanced education to our students, allowing them to thrive and fully experience life.
At Wantage CE Primary School, achievement is still high in the Early Years Foundation Stage and has increased in Key Stages 1 and 2.
Our school's top aims for 2018–2019 are to decrease the achievement gap for disadvantaged students and enhance student development between KS1 and KS2.
In addition to a wide choice of extracurricular activities, we are happy to provide sports clubs for judo, rugby, netball, tennis, frisbee, water polo, triathlon, and "quad kids" athletics.
At Wantage CE, we have a strong musical heritage.
Our connections with the church are crucial to us.
The nuns from St. Mary's Convent Wantage provide devoted assistance to our Year 5 students in order to help them comprehend the deeper meaning and significance of the Passion play that the students develop, produce, and perform every Easter.
The school council organises and hosts Wantage does 'Strictly Come Dancing,' an annual event that offers an afternoon of entertainment and raises money for children's charities.
The school council and "Friends" collaborated to generate almost $8,000 for a new climbing wall for KS1 and a trim trail for KS2 in order to refurbish our outdoor play grounds in 2017–2018.
