From the Walthamstow Hall
When we enter the outside world, we are urged to apply what we have learned to create meaningful lives that respect all of creation and show compassion for those in need.
Prayer at Walthamstow Hall School.
Since our establishment 180 years ago, Walthamstow Hall in Sevenoaks has remained faithful to its original mission of giving girls access to an education that is rich in opportunity, challenge, and potential.
Your daughter will learn that learning is an active process at Walthamstow Hall that allows her to become directly involved rather than something that just happens to her.
She will understand that thinking has an effect on learning.
Here, we provide your daughter with a setting built on friendship, trust, and security, giving her the self-assurance to give it her all.
We mean that Wally girls have a peaceful assurance that comes from knowing who they are and, moreover, that they are valued for who they are, by us and by each other, whether they are naturally outgoing or quite shy.
We think that this is the greatest way to get ready for whatever the future holds.
I hope our website gives you a sense of the sheer fun of attending Walthamstow Hall, although it can only make a passing reference to the close-knit community.
Come and experience the school in action, meet our girls and staff, and see for yourself what that reality is like.
