We have a shared vision for Wallands Community Primary that unites the students, teachers, parents, and governors. We will promote a love of learning, delivering the curriculum in a rich, varied and creative way through offering high quality teaching, setting high expectations and maximising the benefits of our unique setting and diverse community. By developing a sense of belonging among all of our students and supporting them, we will strengthen our commitment to being an inclusive school. We are committed to helping all kids reach their full potential by putting a strong emphasis on vocabulary and knowledge growth. They will be pushed to become self-sufficient, engaged, and reflective lifelong learners. aspire to great things and harbour grandiose goals for the future. take pride in who we are, our school, and the community that we live in. Demonstrate collaboration in ourselves, in our school, and in our community. We learn best when we collaborate and are receptive to one another's ideas. and are aware that collaboration and active listening are the two main ways in which we learn. Resilience is the ability to bounce back from setbacks and keep trying to improve. We are kind to each other, consider others' feelings, learn from our mistakes, and strive to be the best we can be. The six branches of a tree represent our six core ideals. Aspiration, Responsibility, Pride, Cooperation, Resilience, and Kindness are some of these. The behaviours we want to foster in our kids to make them great learners are linked to the values. A learning behaviour animal is also connected to each of our values. Charter stars and certificates are awarded to children who put the school values into action.
