Uffculme School Reviews

I have two sons who have been at this school, one recently moved on to college after achieving great results, and one currently in Year 10. Both boys have received a superb education, with supportive teachers who worked hard and were hugely encouraging. The new head is excellent and has made a big impact on the behaviour issues caused by several families who simply werendealt with by a weak former head. The expectations on children...
Both my girls attend Uffculme and are flying in their studies and absolutely loving everything it has to offer. They are encouraged to join clubs and the music and drama facilities in particular are fantastic. There’s something for everyone and the work ethos is impressive. I’m so pleased we were able to send them to this school. More than anything they love going to school and enjoy learning. Can’t recommend it enough.
All of my children have gone to this school. My eldest and second eldest went there when it was a RECENT (2014) Ofsted report of outstanding, and it was a good school. The last few years it has gone down hill, bullying is rife and although the staff have been helpful it continued all the way through to the extent my youngest continuously thinks his life is worthless. The Ofsted have a big part to...
I attended the school myself, I had hoped my child would . It’s our feeder school and is reported to be an outstanding school. However it has not been reviewed since 2014, over 11 years ago ! The SEN provision at the school is minimal, the attitude of the SEN lead is atrocious and that’s putting it mildly. At a meeting it became clear very quickly that SEN pupils were not welcome and that the...
Both my children attended this school and they really excelled in the schools inclusive environment. Can completely understand why it’s rated so high
Awful school with rude teachers who don't do anything to help. There is a huge bullying problem that the school do nothing about.
Truly awful school, bullying is rampant and nothing is ever done. Teaching is of appauling quality. Keep away
Horrible school, has good Ofsted rating but nothing else. Staff are uncoperative, argumentative and very rude. Nothing is ever done about bullying even when reporting it. Behavior is appauling and fights are a daily occurence. The headteacher is leaving in September 2023 for a reason. Your child will suffer here.
