In 1981, the London Borough of Ealing transferred the property to the London Diocesan Board, converting Twyford into a Christian school. A group of local parents, some of whom are still involved in supporting the School, launched a determined effort that in large part led to the creation of the current School. Twyford was praised as an outstanding school in its 2012 Ofsted inspection, where the pastoral assistance and supervision, the connections between staff and pupils, and the leadership of the school are all excellent.
