A welcome back service for the entire school was enjoyed by students, faculty, and other Trinity community members at the beginning of the new semester. It was wonderful to be able to welcome both returning and new students to the new school year with the entire school鈥攆rom the Nursery to the Sixth Form鈥攑resent for the service on the Prep playground. The service was based on Christian values. Mr. Coen reiterated the speech day lesson about how we build our character through the experiences, classes, outings, and activities we engage in throughout school and life. Possibly it may be evident where it will lead, but other times we won't realise how that particular incident shaped who we are until subsequently, sometimes years later. The message for this term that pupils took away is "Blame no one, Expect nothing and Do something", which encourages all of us to take responsibility for what we do at home, at school and in life, to not assume that we are automatically entitled to anything, and to take action by making decisions and seeing them through.
