We respect the different ethnic backgrounds of all students, families, and staff at Tinsley Meadows Primary Academy. We all have respect and tolerance for the differences in our community and the larger globe in which we live thanks to our diverse cultural heritage. We host celebratory activities all year long to recognise the variety in our school and to teach everyone more about the customs, cultures, and religious practises practised in other nations. We are eager to study about British history and comprehend how we can better prepare ourselves for a life in modern Britain, even though we are proud of our variety and work to understand one another as individuals. We place a strong emphasis on British values in both our curriculum and school climate. A wide range of British historical topics, including the Anglo-Saxons, World War II, and the Roman Empire, are covered in our history curriculum. At Tinsley, democracy is at the core of all we do. All of the students at our school, from grades 1 through 6, are represented by a powerful School Council. Members of the School Council are chosen by class vote. We are devoted to giving every student the tools they need to make a constructive contribution to the democratic and peaceful society in which we live and are happy to uphold these principles in our school.
