I believed that by mentioning the Duke of Edinburgh's award programme, I could give the school a hearty congratulations.
It has been one of my son's most notable victories over the past 18 months since it has given him many possibilities for growth, forced him to try new things, and forced him to work in a team with others.
'Your Head Boy is a credit to your school and has persuaded me to look at Therfield for my 10 year old. I take my hat off and compliment the school on the concentration on DofE and on the quality, enthusiasm, and hard work of the instructors involved.'
What a delight your Head Boy is. I've spoken to him twice at the Sainsbury's checkout in Leatherhead, and he's so polite, interested, and funny.
"I wanted to thank you for organising the anti-bullying evening. I wish him much success for his bright future and appreciate him for being such an amazing role model for my younger son.
Simply put, I wanted to express my gratitude for allowing me to assist with the mock university interviews.
Meeting your pupils, who are enthusiastic and well-prepared for the future, was a great pleasure.
They represent Therfield well, being articulate and having excellent people skills. "I watched the Therfield Jazz Band at the World Wide Charities Fair at St George's on Saturday, and I was really impressed.
My daughter, who is 11 and is learning the trombone, found it to be a tremendous motivation.
Thank you so much for inviting us to your business day last Friday. The students were such wonderful representatives for the school.
The kids thought it was fantastic and really loved it.
I was delighted to observe how nicely the Year 7 students have integrated with you.
Just letting you know how amazed I was when I went to Therfield for the open evening.
He was a valuable member of the faculty and obviously likes his time at Therfield.
Our son graduated from Sandhurst Military Academy on August 2nd as a reserve army officer, a feat made possible in large part by the excellent education and assistance he received at Therfield. I felt that children of all needs and talents are valued at Therfield.
I want to thank the team for their wonderful contributions, which have helped to mould this man's destiny, once more. You couldn't help but be moved by the Therfield staff's today's passion and dedication. "You make a difference to every child that you touch," our family says. "Our daughter has earned both the bronze and silver D of E and needs just two more to earn her gold. Thank you."
You are the only institution where no student is turned away.
The variety of activities you provide is fantastic; both of our kids have loved climbing club, which is yet another activity not many kids can participate in.
Just wanted to send a small word of gratitude to the two of your Year 10 boys who helped my Year 7 son today after school.
He had a flat tyre that was so bad that the tyre and inner tube detached off the wheel rim and became tangled in the forks.
When he attempted to fix it, two Therfield students came up to him, offered their assistance, and fixed his bike.
Thank you to these boys for helping my kid in practical ways as well as for the good impression they made on him.
