We appreciate you spending the time to learn more about our school. We are a small primary school located close to Matlock and the Peak District National Park amid lovely surroundings. Tansley Primary School has a long history and is home to a friendly, caring school community and parents. In order to provide every student at our school with the greatest education possible, we firmly believe in working in cooperation with all of our parents and carers. Every kid has unique talents, skills, and abilities. As a joyful school, we think that there should be smiles and laughter every day. It is our duty to recognise and support each child's desires to be the best they can be in all areas of the curriculum. We take pride in getting to know our kids well, doing our best to fulfil their needs, and helping them develop into well-rounded adults who can think independently, with confidence, and with a passion for learning. We are closely connected to Holy Trinity Church in Tansley, which is just a short distance away. Holy Trinity Church's Reverend Richard Reade frequently makes trips to the school. We also attend church across the street for term-ending services and other community activities because we value the support of the neighbourhood. A school is quite challenging to sum up in a few words. Come observe us in action to learn more about us in the most effective way possible. Visits to the school are cordially welcomed, and I would be delighted to give you a tour so you can see the school in action and the incredible things we accomplish. Contact Mrs. Wilson, our senior administrative assistant, at 01629 582448 or [email protected] to set up a visit.
