From the Stalyhill Infant School
As a two-form entry school, Stalyhill Infant School began operations in November 1980.
On the outskirts of Stalybridge, we are located in a neighbourhood.
Since we are Tameside's only distinct infant and junior school, we are in a unique position to provide our students with a specialised early childhood education.
Our curriculum is comprehensive and well-balanced, and there are many chances to learn through hands-on activities in an entertaining but instructive approach.
We provide for every unique need.
The right help is provided to students with additional needs so they can advance and gain more self-assurance.
We think that children should be given challenges and should learn independently to prepare them for adulthood.
Students are encouraged to gain knowledge about the world outside of Stalyhill Infant School.
Through our assemblies, RE classes, and personal, health, social, and emotional education classes as well as through treating one another with respect within our school community, our children are encouraged to donate money to charities and to learn about the needs of others.
We strongly urge parents to support their children's education at Stalyhill Infants.
A vibrant PTA that is shared with the Junior School organises numerous social activities to generate money.
