From the St Thomas Church of England Primary School, Lydiate
Greetings from our joyful school. From this website, we hope you may get a feel of its dynamism, ambition, and ethos. In the centre of Lydiate lies a modest church elementary school called St. Thomas'. St. Thomas' is built on a Christian foundation and we put God at the centre of everything we do, equipping children with Christian values to prepare them for their lives. In reality, the bible is the foundation of our mission statement: Jesus urged his followers to follow him and live their lives according to God's will. Each member of the faculty and staff is well acquainted with the others, and each person contributes significantly to the life of the school. Both character and academic comprehension are things we want to develop. We hold each child in the highest regard and are aware of their limitless potential. St. Thomas' was examined by Ofsted in July 2013 and was found to be exceptional in every regard. Our solid, loving relationships and a unified passion for lifelong learning serve as the foundation of the school. We think that comfortable and content children (and staff) are more willing to inquire, explore, and learn. Our goal is to instill a love of learning within our pupils, which will develop them into life-long learners with high aspirations for their future. We are proud of our school and the academic and personal accomplishments of our students, along with the staff and governors. Hopefully, this website can help you discover the answers to a lot of your queries. If you are interested in finding out more, do get in touch. Our children and staff would love to show you around.
