Greetings from St. Thomas a. Becket School. This is a thriving, happy school that seeks to instil a lifetime love of learning in its students, parents, and staff. We all work together to make the school a lively, exciting setting that provides the kids with a wide range of opportunities. By giving kids the chance to experience the diverse cultural milieu in which we live and by teaching them that making errors is okay and that risk-taking is how we learn, we hope to broaden their horizons. We want our kids to grow up to be independent, kind, resourceful, inquisitive people who can adjust to the ever-changing environment in which they live. Children are encouraged to aim high and believe in their ability to excel at St. Thomas a Becket. In particular, we want every child to understand that everyone is unique, that every single child matters, and that it is because of each and every one of them that St. Thomas a Becket is such a special place for the entire school community to be. Our school is unique because of the kids. We are a school that values every aspect of every student. We recognise how crucial it is for kids to thrive academically, and we offer a lot of extra help and support to make sure kids leave school with the abilities they need to excel in the next phase of their education. However, we think a successful kid is much more than this. The school appreciates your confidence in us to care for your children and looks forward to working with each of you.
