St. Monica's is very proud of its Catholic identity and we want to help you bring up your child in the Catholic faith. This works best when the family, school and parish promote the same values for living and celebrating our Catholic faith. Our Mission Statement is "Success for All within a Christ Centred Community" and it is at the heart of everything we do. Our school is a happy place where staff are keen to work with you to develop the skills your child will need to become independent and a lifelong learner. St. Monica's is a successful school achieving local and national recognition at many levels. Our teaching expertise is shared with colleagues locally, nationally and internationally. We have had links with a schools in Europe, Africa and China and our children have visited these countries as part of their studies. Our last five OFSTED inspections have been rated "outstanding" and we are the first primary school in the country to achieve this acolade. Amongst our other awards we have been awarded the Ten Year Quality Mark from the Basic Skills Agency, and most recently we have been recognised as a Safe School for online safeguarding.
