At St. Michael's, we work to "Live and Learn Together" while demonstrating God's love for everyone we encounter.
to create a Christian environment where kids may learn to live in and positively contribute to society while being encouraged to develop as individuals.
In order for kids to grow and reach their full potential, St. Michael's seeks to offer the greatest teaching and learning in a fun and engaging atmosphere.
Every student at the school is encouraged to develop and maintain a passion of learning.
The youngsters at St. Michael's are residents of Helston and the neighbourhood.
The Helford River Children's Sailing Trust offers sailing instruction to groups of kids every year, and we also hold annual Surf Safe Days with Global Boarders.
The school has a strong musical legacy, and many of our students take music lessons in a variety of instruments, including guitar, violin, brass, drums, and piano.
Every year group gets the chance to take part in educational visits on a regular basis.
Year 5 and Year 6 students have the option of visiting London or participating in an outdoor adventure camp in Porthpean or the Isles of Scilly during two residential visits offered each year.
Flora Day is a significant occasion for the neighbourhood, and each year the kids from St. Michael's gladly take part in the age-old custom of the Children's Dance.
Cross-country, the Military Kids Club, the singing club, tag-rugby, and football are just a few of the many after-school activities and enrichment programmes available year-round.
Both of our drop-off clubs, Early Birds in the morning and Dragon's after-school wrap-around care, are managed by St. Michael's employees.
We have a vibrant School Council that regularly contributes to decision-making, conducts new hire interviews, draughts questions for the School Monitoring Council, and actively participates in the annual Guildhall debates.
