From the St Mary's Church of England Primary School
In the very effective multicultural Church of England school St. Mary's, Christian principles and values permeate and guide everything we do. With God's help, we can all achieve great things because we set high standards for ourselves and encourage our students to give their all in whatever they do. Here, education is enjoyable and as useful as we can make it, and we strive to bring the curriculum to life. Children have opportunity to learn not just in the classroom but also in our expansive grounds and outdoor regions by using our Farm and Forest school programmes since experiential learning is crucial. Children are given the chance to go not only to nearby points of interest but also to major cities like London, Manchester, or Liverpool, where they can see museums and famous locations like the Houses of Parliament or the Mersey. Additionally, we arrange a trip to France. We strongly believe that the teaching of our Christian faith values - with an emphasis on Jesus's teaching to 'love one another as I have loved you' John 13:34 - is what makes our school such a warm, calm and welcoming place. William James Head of school. OBE, NLE, NPQH, B.Ed., Masters of Education (Hons).
