A small rural Hampshire community is home to the Church of England Voluntary Aided school St. Mary's Bentworth. We take pleasure in offering a stimulating, safe, and enjoyable learning environment with Christian values of compassion ingrained throughout school life. Our company has three core principles: love, respect, and belonging. We make a lot of effort to make sure these values are "lived." We provide services to five nearby communities (Beech, Bentworth, Herriard, Lasham, and Shalden) as well as youngsters from the surrounding region. We have 106 students in 4 classrooms, ranging in age from 4 to 11 years old. Our staff is welcoming and competent, and the Governors provide excellent assistance. From planning Christmas fairs to funding whole-school circus days, the PTA works diligently to assist the school. Please get in touch with Mrs. Jo Ayres, our headteacher, if you'd like more information about our school or to schedule a visit. We are eager to have you visit our school. "You are committed to putting children at the centre of everything you do." The core of what the school does is a very distinct Christian vision and set of beliefs. "...rich and varied curriculum" and "...environment encourages favourable attitudes among students, who become confident learners and accomplish well." Because they are encouraged to take on positions of responsibility, students thrive and feel like they can make a positive impact.
