Welcome to the website for St. Luke's CE Primary School, I would like to say. Education is very much viewed at St. Luke's as a collaboration between the home and the school. We hope that the shared responsibilities of education, care, and discipline will lead to a close relationship between families and schools. The Home/School Agreement confirms this collaboration. A two-classroom Church of England school named St Luke's was first established in 1911; it had previously been housed in a residence on Raven Meols Lane. Fourteen classrooms, two playgrounds, a wonderful narrative garden, a wild meadow, and a sports field are now available to us. Although the school has grown considerably, we believe we have been able to maintain the ethos of a smaller school: friendly and welcoming, with every child valued as an individual within a Christian family atmosphere. When Shirley Williams, the Baroness of Crosby, arrived to officially open our addition, she said: "When you enter this school, you feel a tremendous spirit. The atmosphere of cooperation is palpable. It is a testament to the professors' commitment ". According to our most recent Church school inspection report: "The school's emphasis on caring for others and the high calibre of connections between all of its constituents provide a remarkable contribution to the moral and social development of its students. Students approach their education positively and are aware of the staff's esteem for them. Every student feels valued and safe. The students speak boldly about what makes their school distinctive to them and are proud of it ". I sincerely hope you enjoy browsing our website and discover any information you're looking for. Please feel free to contact the school direct with any queries you may have.
