Within the Diocese of Brentwood, St. Joseph's Catholic Infant School is a voluntary-aided institution. Nursery programmes, junior school connections, the Tollgate Teaching Alliance, and the Aquinas Learning Trust are all part of our dynamic school community. Our grounds offer wonderful opportunities for recreation, athletics, and family gatherings in addition to outdoor education. This year, a three million pound renovation was completed, further demonstrating our dedication to making improvements and funding our kids' education. Our goal is for every child to advance as much as they can. Through an ethos of encouraging praise, having high standards, and offering the appropriate level of assistance, we push kids to do their best. Based on the interests of our students, our dedicated staff team has created a fun and interesting curriculum. We were among the top 8% of schools nationwide for phonics in 2017. Our scores at the end of the Key Stage consistently outperform both the national average and those of other nearby schools. Every child is special and valued equally. Students and community members are appreciated for who they are rather than what they can do, and they are given every chance to achieve the maximum level of educational development. We are all created equal, and every child is given the tools they need to develop into lifelong learners who are confident, self-assured, and who have a positive outlook on learning. We strive to uphold the following key values: ambition, responsibility, citizenship, creativity, empathy, and faith. I hope that our website helps you to better understand these principles. We would be honoured to have you visit our school. To schedule a visit and learn more about what makes our school unique, please contact the school office.
