We are fortunate to have an 11-class primary school and a nursery that accepts children as young as 3 years old, both of which are situated in lovely, wide grounds in the well-liked market town of Chipping Sodbury.
At St. John's Mead, we believe that every child should develop in wisdom, knowledge, and skills in order to flourish as an individual made in the image of God who has the capacity to positively impact the world.
We want to foster a passion of learning that lasts a lifetime as well as an open, inquisitive mind.
At St. John's Mead School, we uphold Christian principles that are inspired by Jesus' life and teachings.
Together, we are learning to recognise these ideals and put them into practise in our academic lives.
In order to build a caring and enduring community where all children can grow up socially, morally, and spiritually while also developing an understanding of their own and other people's cultures, we support and encourage one another and work to serve others with compassion, forgiveness, and understanding.
With a growing knowledge of the opportunities and challenges to build a more just world and a healthy environment for all, we are learning how to be engaged local, national, and international citizens.
We acknowledge that God sees and cherishes each person for who they are, and that Jesus taught us that the best indicator of how we treat others is how we treat ourselves.
Children learn to know, love, and cherish themselves at St. John's Mead so that they can become seekers of goodness and truth.
They are learning how to live healthy lifestyles and how to be confident in their own identities.
