From the St James Church of England Primary School
On the outskirts of Northampton, there is a warm, active, and diverse school called St. James Church of England Primary School. Within the Peterborough Diocese Academy Trust, we are a Church of England school (PDET). All of our work is based on Christian principles, with respect serving as the cornerstone. Due to the vast range of families we welcome, we have a fascinating multicultural mix of languages and religions. We place a high value on inclusion and are quite proud of our two specialised services. For kids who exhibit social and emotional difficulties and have thus struggled to develop successfully in a previous mainstream setting, our two units offer a safe environment. Our pastoral team is strong and serves families and kids with a variety of wellbeing and safety concerns. We offer wonderful facilities to support outdoor learning and sport in addition to our 14 classrooms, studio, hall, purpose-built Nursery, and library. There are various places around the school to contemplate and explore nature and the environment, as well as a brand-new outdoor learning area for our Reception students. Additionally, we have a sizable playing field, hard-surfaced sports fields, a trim trail, and an all-weather multi-use games area (astroturf) that are used both before and after school and throughout the school day. Please look around our website for more information, but don't just read about St. James; come experience it for yourself! To ask any questions or set up a visit, please call Laura, Emma, or Jo at our office at 01604 751475. Jo Prickett can also be reached at [email protected].
