Welcome to the Foundation Unit of St. Edmund's C of E Primary School. 'Good in All Areas,' according to an Ofsted evaluation from April 2016. Every action and choice we make is based on the firm conviction that every child, regardless of their unique circumstances, deserves to feel safe, included, appreciated, and challenged in every element of school life. Our goal is for our kids to graduate from St. Edmund's as knowledgeable, well-rounded people who consistently make the right decisions and are well-equipped to contribute to secondary education and a rapidly changing society. We are a "happy family" striving to be the best we can be. Our school's success is supported by a strong set of Christian values and beliefs as well as high standards, particularly in the subjects of English and mathematics. At St. Edmund's, we work hard to ensure that every child reaches their full potential and recognise, foster, and celebrate brilliance in every child. This is due to the fact that we really believe that every child is capable of achieving anything they set their minds to. In light of this, we offer a robust curriculum that runs alongside the basic disciplines in the areas of music, sport, computing, and the arts. Our goal is to serve as a model for appropriate learning practises in the creation of lifelong learners.
