Foundational Skills: Effective training means that staff understand how to plan highly personalized tasks at the right level for every pupil in phonics.
Success of the Curriculum: Good progress throughout the school ensures that, by the end of Key Stage 2, pupils have caught up and reached average levels of attainment in line with other pupils of their age nationally.
Areas Needing Improvement: Checks on pupils’ progress in other subjects are not as effective as they are in English and mathematics.
Performance in Maths & Reading: Pupils achieve well because the environment is geared towards promoting high levels of language use.
Support for Falling Behind: Staff track the progress of individual pupils very carefully, meeting with senior leaders regularly to discuss any pupils who are not making at least expected progress.
Behaviour and Attitudes: Pupils behave well around the school and in lessons. They feel safe and treat each other with a high degree of respect.
Support for SEND Pupils: Disabled pupils and those with special educational needs achieve well because the school ensures their needs are well met through extra support in class and small-group work.

Promotion of Welfare and Safety: Pupils understand how to keep themselves safe and treat each other with a high degree of respect.

Teacher Engagement: Teachers have responded very positively to the range of methods used to help them sharpen their classroom performance.
Impact on Student Progress: Teaching is now good and is therefore driving good achievement.
Assessment of Teaching Quality: Leaders check classroom practice regularly and highlight areas for development with high-quality support available.
Teaching Staff Challenges: Adults do not always judge when to withdraw their support so that pupils have the opportunity to learn independently.

Greetings from St. Anne's School. Lesley Steward, who has been working in Wandsworth schools for 25 years, has been the headteacher of St. Anne's School since 2010. You and your family are cordially invited to St. Anne's C.E. Primary School by the students, teachers, and governors. Our website seeks to inform you about our school, our values, and our goals for the students. We know each student as a person because we are a small, one-form entry school, and we have developed a welcoming, secure family environment where each student can thrive. Our school's core mission is to nurture and support kids in realising their full potential by fostering their distinctively Christian character and promoting Christian values. We have high aspirations for all our children. Lessons are designed by our talented staff team to be challenging and engaging. Each classroom is a hive of activity with children engaged in learning through meaningful and relevant activities. We offer a fascinating, demanding, and welcoming atmosphere supported by parental trust and collaboration. We give our kids a love of learning that they can carry with them for the rest of their lives. We place a lot of focus on each child's spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development and hold all of our students to the highest expectations for their conduct and academic performance. We are proud of our community and want all our pupils to leave the school proud of their own success, with a positive attitude and with the necessary skills, knowledge and wisdom to face the future with confidence. If you would like to visit the school to learn more, we often host open days. To schedule a visit, kindly get in touch with the school office.
