Both our pupils and we have similar expectations for the teachers who work with them.
At St. Aldhelm's Academy, we sincerely commit to ensuring that all students graduate from Year 11 with a wide range of highly regarded academic and vocational credentials, as well as with a "well-rounded" and informed perspective on life and aspirational goals for themselves in the careers they choose to pursue.
The excellent instruction that children receive every day, as well as our first-rate facilities, which include brand-new classrooms, a theatre, a dance studio, a hair and beauty salon, and a garage, make me very proud.
We share our parents' hope that students would graduate from St. Aldhelm's Academy as resilient, self-assured, creative, kind, and caring young adults who will succeed in navigating life and make meaningful contributions to their local community.
The dedication to our kids' education is evident in the March 2016 OFSTED report, which characterised the school as having been "transformed" by "rapid and persistent progress" by senior management.
During a visit in December 2016, a representative from the Regional School Commissioner echoed the observations made by the inspection team, praising the "calm and harmonious" learning environment as well as the "high level of trust and respect" that exists between teachers and students. The representative also emphasised "consistent and regular marking" as a key strength of the academy.
In summary, the academy continues to provide and improve high quality education for all of its students as each academic term comes to a close.
Students are "proud" to be St. Aldhelm's Academy students, according to the OFSTED inspection team.

I’m absolutely gutted and frustrated with the lack of support my child is getting. He has SEN and is supposed to have 1:1 TA support, but instead, he’s only getting it sporadically—anywhere from not at all to just 3 hours a day out of 5. How is that fair? How is he supposed to keep up when the help he needs isn’t there? The school gets funding for this support, so where is it going?...
