Thank you for coming to the website of Songbirds Day Nursery and Kids Club. My name is Susan Goodwin, and I am the setting's owner and registered individual. I've lived in Preston all my life, and the neighbourhood knows me well. I started the Nursery in 1997 after my sister needed to go back to work but was unable to find a suitable daycare. In order to satisfy the demand, I established a small nursery that shared my beliefs in small class sizes and providing high-quality childcare for parents and children from 3 months to 11 years old. The Nursery is surrounded by half an acre of private gardens and has its own parking area. We subscribe to the Eco and Nurture philosophy and believe that children's learning is significantly influenced by the natural world. Our goal is "the Village Nursery," which, in my opinion, captures the mindset and compassion of those who look for and educate the kids. I have a BA (Hons) in early childhood education and Early Years Professional Status (EYPS). I truly hope that your child has fun while attending my daycare, preschool, or kids club. I'm also interested in suggestions for how to grow the nursery. The staff creates a welcoming environment with a strong sense of family.
