It's a pleasure to study and work at Soham Village College. Our teams of skilled, dedicated instructors and associate staff members contribute to the development of a positive work environment. Students have very positive attitudes toward learning, and staff-student relationships are a hallmark of the school. It is obvious that students enjoy learning, and effective teaching inspires students to study. As a result, students behave well in class and during social interactions. We take great satisfaction in providing our pupils with a wide variety of educational and extracurricular options. We aim for greatness both within and outside the classroom, and we are proud of the accomplishments of all of our students, regardless of their aptitude or area of interest. Our GCSE results have been consistently outstanding, and we have achieved excellent progress in all areas of the curriculum—including science, math, and English. The school's "academic excellence" was referred to in Ofsted's most recent report. It’s a really good place to learn and attend. The people who say it is bad really need to look at some other schools in comparison. Most of the teachers are amazing (theres some you just don’t get on with and thats okay). The school clearly puts a lot of effort in to giving the best they can. My main complaint is that the food is half the size, double the cost and some aren’t...
The toilets are always a absolute mess and the food tastes horrible. Some teachers shout at you for sneezing. And student behaviour is so bad there are cameras in the toilets. You can usually find a entire roll of toilet roll or other trash inside the toilet itself and sometimes you might find a vape behind the toilet.
