Smeeth After School Club is open from 3.15 to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday (Term Time Only). Please see the "Contact Details" section to reserve a spot at our After School Club. Smeeth Play Club would want to refer families to other vacation clubs in our network as they will not be offering this service this year (2019). The Kent Play Clubs website has all the details. The goal of the After School Club is to offer young people engaging activities that will help them grow in a secure, loving atmosphere. The Club organises a variety of events, such as cooking classes and healthy living workshops, arts and crafts activities, outdoor game sessions, contests, music, etc. Parents are welcome to observe what is going on and plans are always available! . On July 8, 2016, we had our Ofsted inspection, and we're happy to report that we achieved a "Good" overall rating. Ofsted commented that the children "receive good support to develop their ideas during play", "Children's physical well-being is well supported" and that "Children are confident to make decisions about what they would like to play with and how to use the toys available". The club employees "have a solid awareness of safeguarding and understand their role and responsibility in keeping children safe," according to an Ofsted remark.
