I currently serve as the Executive Head Teacher at the primary schools in Hornsea Burton and Skipsea.
After completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, I began teaching at a Hull school.
I began my first Headship at Hornsea Burton School in 2007 and was asked to lead Skipsea School in 2011.
I have served as a mentor for new head teachers and am an appraiser for the local authority's leadership and development programme.
After 42 years of service as a primary school teacher, I recently retired.
I worked as a mainstream teacher for 28 years in five different local administrations.
After living in Germany and the Netherlands for nearly 30 years, my family and I relocated back to the UK in 2007.
At Hornsea Burton Primary School, two of my kids finished elementary school.
I have a background in psychology, counselling, and homoeopathy, and I speak three languages.
For eight years, I served as a governor at Hornsea Burton and, more recently, for the Hornsea Burton and Skipsea Federation.
Every child is important to the Hornsea Burton and Skipsea Federation.
I am excited to join the governing body after 32 years of employment at Hornsea School and Language College, where I held the position of Assistant Head before retiring.
I am eager to get involved in school activities and am currently a member of the subcommittee for teaching and learning.

Greetings, I'm Tracy-Lynne Warkup.
I have been married with three kids for about 20 years and have lived on a farm in Skipsea.
Prior to transferring to Hornsea Secondary, all three of my children attended Skipsea Primary.
I serve as Treasurer for Friends of Skipsea School, the PTA for the institution.
Although I have taken a break from my career as a trained solicitor to spend more time with my kids, I occasionally volunteer for a few weeks at a few law companies.
I am passionate about primary school education and try to provide Hornsea Burton Primary School as much support as I can.
I love being a Parent Governor and assisting the school in any way I can.
Since December 2017, I have served as the vicar of Skipsea, Atwick, and Hornsea, where I also reside in the vicarage.
Before deciding to leave Hull schools in 2012 to seek a career in the Church of England, I spent a few years teaching there, most recently as a Second in Department.
I'm a trustee of some local charities through being Vicar and also a charity based in West Yorkshire that seeks to offer an opportunity to re-connect with nature and our sense of self through a mix of physical activities as a group and independent art projects over the course of a weekend.
Right now, the majority of our clients are refugees and asylum seekers.
As a governor, I want to support the Federation in providing all of the students in its care with the best possible education.
I have two sons and one grandchild, and I relocated to East Yorkshire in 1981.
In 2013, I finished my Level 4 Diploma in School Business Management.
I have been the Hornsea Burton and Skipsea Federation's school business manager for six years.
My career has mainly been in the private sector with companies associated in Finance and Accounting systems before working for East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
I worked as an Administrator for a small village Primary School before starting at Hornsea Burton Primary School in 2003.
I am committed in supporting the values of the school to enhance the learning of all our pupils.
My name is Michael Christopher Parry and I have just been recently appointed as a co-opted Governor on the Governing Body of Hornsea Burton and Skipsea Federation.
My late wife and I trained to be Pooh Bear Readers and we spent many years doing voluntary reading with the children at Hornsea Burton Primary School.
Since moving back to the area, I have started hearing children read at Skipsea Primary School.
I used to be employed for many years at a leading Mail Order Company in West Yorkshire and was awarded a gold watch for my services.
In 2013/14 I was President of the Hornsea and District Lions, another position which I cherished and indeed I continue to be a member of the local Lions.
I have plenty of hobbies including sport and I used to be a football referee for many years.
