I am very excited to be the Headteacher at Sir John Heron Primary School and look forward to sharing with you the wonderful opportunities and developments from the school as the academic year progresses. What makes Sir John Heron truly special is the tremendously hard working pupils who are at the heart of every decision we make to ensure that they are happy, confident and that the opportunities provided are relevant both to their needs now and in the future. The school is able to achieve this important goal for all of our students in large part because to the highly qualified and motivated staff. Together we study is our school's motto, and we firmly believe it. Together, we accomplish. Our curriculum is interesting, ensuring that our students acquire a love of learning and a curiosity that will support the growth of high aspirations and a constant desire to study. Our curriculum has been thoughtfully created to provide a plethora of options, both inside the classroom and through extracurricular pursuits. Our goal is to foster each child's unique abilities and make sure they all succeed and realise their full potential. We work hard to foster positive relationships with parents/carers, governors and the wider school community to ensure the best possible outcomes for all pupils.
