From the Shenstone School
Children who struggle with severe and/or complicated learning challenges attend Shenstone School. Plans for both education and health care are in place for every student at Shenstone. We are situated in the London Borough of Bexley on two sites: Sidcup (for younger students in nursery through Y1) and Crayford (for older students in Y2 through Y6). At Shenstone, our main objective is to equip all of our students with a comprehensive and differentiated curriculum that will give them life-enriching experiences and help them as they pursue lifelong learning. We place a high value on the involvement of our students, families, and staff, and we often have parent forums, open days, and fundraising activities. We put a lot of effort into making Shenstone a fantastic place for students to learn that is safe, joyful, and accepting. Our school enjoys first-rate facilities on both of its campuses, allowing us to provide a variety of learning opportunities both inside and outside the classroom. Our students are extraordinary, and the advancements they consistently accomplish are motivating. Regardless matter how minor or significant the results are, we are very proud of the kids and grateful to have the opportunity to support and contribute to their accomplishments. At Shenstone School, everything we do is infused with the principles and ethos of "together we engage, flourish, and accomplish." Being the head teacher at Shenstone and getting to work with such wonderful students and a dedicated staff is an honour and a joy. Our website attempts to provide regularly updated information as well as a window into our hectic school life.
