Following discussions with all of the families whose children attend the school, the school has decided to embrace the following Christian Values for the upcoming academic year. Honesty - Christians hold that the Bible contains truth that reveals the way that God intends for us to live. We promote honesty among all of our students in our interactions with one another. Respect - God's respect for all of creation, including all people, all creatures, and our environment, extends to all of creation. Both children and adults are required to respect one another, their property, and their environment while they are in school. Teamwork / Unity - The Bible teaches that life is a gift from God and that it is our duty to make the greatest possible use of our skills and capabilities. Children are taught in school to value the contribution that each team member provides. Forgiveness - Forgiveness is the key to mending broken relationships. It is a willed action driven by love. In the classroom, teachers support students and adults in understanding that everyone makes mistakes and that we all require God's and one another's forgiveness. Kindness - Our school and society should, in our opinion, be kind. When taking into account the feelings of others, we should "Bind kindness and truth around your neck and write them on the tablet of your heart." We consider faith to be the single value that ties all of our other values together. "Now faith involves assurance about what we do not see as well as trust in what we hope for." These principles serve as the cornerstone of our corporate worship and serve as a subject of discussion in the classroom.
