Above all things, this community works together to help members understand the purpose and fullness of life, which are grounded in God's love. One of the oldest and most prestigious girls' schools in Britain is Sacred Heart High School. We are proud to be a part of a network of 140 Sacred Heart Catholic girls' schools worldwide, and one of the best performing schools in a 200-year old global alliance that has, since its foundation, focused on academic excellence and the personal and spiritual development of young women from 11 to 18 years' old. The Society of the Sacred Heart has a history of girls' education that spans over two centuries, and the school's central mission and vision for the young women we teach is firmly rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ, and is underpinned by Gospel values. This enables our girls to gain a real sense of what it means to belong to a Community of Faith where all are challenged to develop their full potential.
