The sixth form at Roundwood Park is thriving and effective.
We have a strong track record of success at A Level and BTEC Level 3, and the majority of our students continue their education in higher education, with several of them applying to Oxbridge each year.
In Hertfordshire and beyond, the school's two-year A Level and BTEC Level 3 programme has achieved excellent success.
Our work's core objective is to match students' needs to pertinent courses.
Our partnership with Sir John Lawes School and St. George's School in Harpenden has expanded our pupils' subject choices.
We give Year 12 students the option to study the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), the LIBF financial qualification, the Sports Leaders Award, Massive Online Open Courses (MOOCs), and Core Math in addition to the variety of A levels and level 3 BTECs.
Level 2 English and Math GCSE retakes are available when necessary.
At the time of enrollment in Year 12, the need for this will be apparent.
Students are guaranteed professional supervision from knowledgeable subject teachers and tutors as they progress through the Sixth Form and encounter the challenges of admission into higher education, career, apprenticeship, training, or gap years.
Our students are encouraged to participate actively in both school and community life in addition to academic work.
The school's Student Leadership Group (SLG) drives change, and all sixth formers are encouraged to take on leadership roles in all aspects of school life.
Our students are seen as significant ambassadors and role models for the school, and they consistently uphold our reputation.
There are several possibilities for extracurricular activity and enrichment, including community, musical, and athletic pursuits.
For all of our sixth-form pupils, Roundwood Park School offers a lively and demanding education.
