From the Ridgeway Primary Academy
Welcome to Ridgeway Primary Academy, a dynamic and successful elementary school in South Shields at the centre of a thriving neighbourhood. We are passionate about education and committed to assisting kids in acquiring the knowledge and skills they need to succeed. As the first school to join the Tyne Coast Academy Trust in 2013, we are a PROUD member. Since then, Ridgeway has expanded as new schools have joined and the trust has become more powerful, earning an Ofsted rating of "Good" in 2016. We have more than doubled in size and still welcome kids into our community, thanks to the best writing progress in the nation. Every one of our exceptional kids has accomplished something that we are PROUD of, and they are PROUD to attend our school. Our school is as unique as each and every one of our kids. Our curriculum, which is based on real-world experiences, encourages ingenuity and ambition. We are a farm school that provides UNIQUE outdoor learning possibilities at both our own farm and Jarrow Hall Farm. The Ridgeway experience is both rich and varied, ensuring kids are content and interested in their learning. This is done through visits and guests to every class, every half-term, as well as free breakfast and after-school clubs. Last but not least, we are AMBITIOUS for our kids, motivating and empowering them to realise their potential. They leave us ready to take on the world because we assist them in planning for and developing a BEAUTIFUL and AMBITIOUS future. We appreciate you taking the time to check out our website. The crew and I would be delighted to meet you and show you around if you would like to come and see what we do.
