From the Richmond House School
For boys and girls ages 3 to 11, Richmond House School is an independent preparatory school offering the finest levels of education. The school is perfectly positioned in the beautiful Far Headingley neighbourhood of North Leeds, about three miles from Leeds City Centre and near to the main commuting routes to Harrogate and Bradford. The school has many amenities, such as a big private parking lot, an adventure playground, tennis courts, an Outdoor Learning area with an outdoor classroom, and 10 acres of sports grounds. The kind, loving environment at Richmond House School is what distinguishes it from other schools. Our school is housed in three renovated Victorian homes that are connected by a school hall, and the small classrooms and unusual design of the building all contribute to the family atmosphere. We live in a varied town that is also small enough for everyone to know one another. Above all, we think that our kids are content and like going to school. We are aware that everyone of our students have unique qualities and skills, and our small class sizes enable us to recognise and develop each student's unique abilities. There may be up to 18 students in each class under our two-form admission system.
