Our goal is to create a setting that is safe, encouraging, and challenging so that every student can realise their full potential. This, in our opinion, can only be accomplished if a kid feels secure and happy, and our staff works hard to create this environment for our students. Every child is treated with respect as an individual with special talents, skills, and personalities. At Prettygate, we want every kid to feel important. Our guidebook contains a wealth of knowledge regarding how the school is set up for the current academic year. The best way to discover more about the school, though, is to come and see us in person. If you're interested in learning more, please schedule a consultation. A link to our school's handbook is provided below. Our handbook has information about admissions to Prettygate Infant School, but you can visit the Essex County Council website for more details. In 1962, Prettygate Infant School was established to serve the neighbourhood of Prettygate. The structure is well-lit, roomy, and equipped. There are six big classrooms, a library, and a "quiet room" where parents and children can work individually and in small groups. Physical education facilities are also available in the assembly hall. We are lucky to have a private, sizable playing field next to the school as well as an enclosed outdoor space for our young students. Several classrooms have attached all-weather shelters. The playground includes staging, low-rise play equipment, quiet play areas and sheltered seating. An established wildlife area, sensory garden and Forest School area offer opportunities for outdoor learning. We share the site with Prettygate Junior School.
