A primary school and daycare with 60 spots per year group, Poplar Street is modern. The school, which was recently refurbished, has served as the community's focal point since 1913. The catchphrase of Poplar Street is "working together - striving high." We want to provide our kids with a variety of possibilities to be content and successful, allowing them to pursue their dreams. Our work is centred on partnerships; we collaborate closely with parents, kids, and the larger community. In our school, parents are always welcome to participate in our vibrant PFA, assist in lessons, or be actively involved in and supportive of their child's extracurricular activities. We value parents as the primary educators in their children's education and work to strengthen this by establishing engaging environments. Additionally, we recognise that parents need flexible child care options, which is why our before- and after-school kids' club is so well-liked. The abundance of extracurricular activities available, including sports, the arts, chess, and cooking, lengthens our academic day even further. At Poplar Street, we value developing the complete child very highly. Every Child Matters' guiding principles are something we take very seriously, and we constantly strive towards excellence.
