Polegate School is located on the eastern edge of the town, close to the Cuckoo Trail. It is only 4 miles inland from Eastbourne, a seaside resort, and 4 miles south of Hailsham, a market town. 515 students are presently enrolled. Our relationship with Willingdon Primary and Willingdon Community School is well-established. This was first established to facilitate the transition between the elementary schools and Willingdon, the secondary institution that the majority of our students attend. With the goal of increasing results for all students at all three schools, our relationship has been very effective, and we have expanded our goals. We see this cooperation expanding in the future.
