In order to serve the community and prepare our students for the opportunities of adult life in the twenty-first century, Plantsbrook strives to be a learning, compassionate, and successful institution. Students will be taught how to be good citizens who can benefit from adult opportunities and respect other people's cultures and values. We take great satisfaction in being a compassionate school. We want to offer a setting that is:-. We take great pride in being a comprehensive school here at Plantsbrook. Be the best that you can be, we tell all of our pupils, from the brightest to those who struggle with learning. Our students have made exceptional academic gains. All students take part in a comprehensive and well-balanced curriculum created to help them develop the abilities and character traits they will need to move on to the next phase of their lives. For our "Academically more able and talented pupils," we offer tough extension work that stretches even the brightest students. Teaching assistants collaborate with kids and offer them extra assistance in the classroom. Additionally, we offer a section for a small group of visually challenged pupils who significantly improve school life. We contend that the calibre of a school's faculty should be your first consideration. The team at Plantsbrook is incredibly driven, enthusiastic, and kind. We invest thousands of pounds yearly in our highly skilled team members' training and ongoing professional development. We have received the esteemed "Investor in People" award. This confirms that staff training and performance is managed effectively in school which in turn improves teaching and learning. Lessons are regularly visited by Senior Staff to support teachers and to ensure high standards.
