From the Pelsall Village School
Every Child, Every Chance, Every Day is the school's motto. Our school is a great place to be because we work hard to support and help everyone, creating a sense of a welcoming community. We take great satisfaction in our pastoral care, but we also promote the value of teamwork by upholding the high standards set by the school. We like to try out new and intriguing hobbies and ventures and are constantly busy. At Pelsall Village, achievement is regularly celebrated, and we all enjoy sharing this accomplishment during our weekly "Celebration Assemblies." Self-Regulation is a major topic in education. Children are encouraged to gain skills that will enable them to make the best decisions on their own rather than constantly relying on adults through prizes like the FAB 5. These abilities develop over time and offer a solid basis for their subsequent journey into secondary school. The development of logical, thoughtful, and rational minds is a crucial component of our educational philosophy. This is exemplified in our teaching of Maths which strongly focuses on guiding children to become good 'Mathematicians' - able to solve a problem in the most efficient and effective way rather than relying on only one method of calculation. Finally, we acknowledge the significant influence that parental support, particularly with homework (reading, spelling, math, etc.), has on every child's ultimate results. Whenever possible, we offer assistance through materials or workshops in schools. We sincerely hope you enjoy browsing our website and discover the details you're looking for. Any questions you may have can be directed to the school directly.
