From the Patcham Junior School
Patcham Junior School is a three-form entrance junior high school that is situated on the edge of the South Downs National Park, north of Brighton and Hove. We are located in a sizable structure that offers our students a diverse and fascinating atmosphere. We have three halls, a music room, an ICT suite, and twelve classrooms. Two playgrounds, an environmental garden, an adventure playground, and a large number of playing fields are all on the property. Our ties to the neighbourhood are strong, and Patcham High School, which is housed on the same campus, is one of them. Single-age classes are set up across the school, with three students in each of the years 3, 4, 5, and 6. The number of students in each class should be around 32 according to the current statistics. Before switching to a new teacher in September of the following year, children spend a year with their current class instructor. We currently also provide weekly sessions with children with specialists in music, French, and religious education. To broaden our students' learning opportunities, we also collaborate with a range of sports coaches, artists, musicians, and other expert teachers.
