From the Parkend Primary School
Hello and welcome to Parkend Primary School's website. We are a welcoming, compact, and active primary school in a rural area of the stunning Forest of Dean. Our school benefits from a sizable location right in the middle of the forest. Our woodland classroom and other outdoor learning spaces are beneficial to our 66 students. A sizable permanent gazebo, a garden, and a school field are also available. In order to supplement and widen the chances available to our students, we are happy to offer a good variety of extracurricular activities in addition to our curriculum. We have clubs available for choir, building, sports through Super Stars, art, yoga, ball skills, and archery, among many others, with many more to come during the year. The success of this village school illustrates the benefits of having fewer students thanks to our familiarity with the students. Every staff member is intimately familiar with every child, enabling them to provide better support. Our Friends group is devoted to providing the finest care possible for the kids in our care. It is a privilege to lead a school that has been a part of the local community for nearly 200 years and I consider myself lucky to be able to work with such a dedicated staff in order to provide the best experience for our children.
