From the Park Hall Junior Academy
As a teacher, senior leader, deputy head teacher, and head teacher at Park Hall Junior Academy for many years, I'm proud of my tenure there. During those years, the school has grown, developed, and changed into the prosperous, successful place it is now. I have witnessed and experienced numerous changes during this time. However, throughout the changes there has been a reassuring sameness and consistency in the ethos that drives the beliefs of this school, simply, that every child has the potential to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding to become the 'best that they can be'. My goals as a head teacher are motivated by my conviction that as educators and students, we make a significant contribution to the process of "real life." Education plays a significant role in our children's life journey, and in my opinion, Park Hall Junior Academy's education and life experience offer the most significant, thrilling, and difficult initial steps on the path to discovery and "real life." Children are our future, and I am fortunate to travel that path alongside the Park Hall kids and families.
