Pardes Residence laying a foundation that is firm building growth-oriented tools building future self-assurance Pardes House is a 65-year-old facility that began operations in September 1978 and converted to voluntary assistance in 2001. Nearly 350 boys, ages 4 to 11, now reside at Pardes House, a growing one-form entrance school. The Headteacher and a Staff Governor support the Governing Body, which is also made up of other members. Orthodox Jewish primary school Pardes House is supported by volunteerism. As orthodox Jewish tradition has been passed down, we are affiliated with the Union of Orthodox Hebrew Congregations of the United Kingdom and take our ethos and values from the eternal principles and teachings of the Torah. These ideals, which are emphasised in the school's "Magna Carta of Rights and Responsibilities" and in daily instruction, are expected of our students. Our Va'ad HaChinuch (Rabbinic board) interprets and rules on all matters relating to the applicability of these values and teachings, and the School Governing Body and Senior Leadership Team aim to follow the directions of the Va'ad HaChinuch in all matters. The goal of the school is to prepare students for their journey through secondary school and beyond by combining the Va'ad HaChinuch's religious requirements with the highest standards attainable as outlined by the National Curriculum. The mission of Pardes House Primary School is to promote high standards of behaviour and accomplishment for all students while offering a safe, nurturing, healthy, and well-structured learning environment. Additionally, we think it is our civic (as well as legal) obligation to promote Fundamental British Values across the curriculum and other aspects of school life in order to help students develop their resistance to radicalization.
