From the The Palmer Catholic Academy
For pupils between the ages of 11 and 18, The Palmer Catholic Academy is a coeducational, voluntary-aided school. In order to serve the Catholic community in Ilford, Canon Patrick Palmer founded Canon Palmer Catholic School in 1961. Since then, the school's enrollment and reputation have increased significantly. 300 kids attended the school in 1961 as opposed to 1,100 currently. The institution has changed significantly throughout the years, but its core mission has stayed the same. We are a cutting-edge school with classic principles. We take great pride in having a multicultural family of learners at The Palmer Catholic Academy, including both staff and students. We all benefit more from sharing and using our strengths and talents as a learning community. As a Catholic school, we prioritise the spiritual growth of every member of our academy community and put Christ at the centre of everything we do. Our academy is made up of a diverse group of people from many faiths who all share the same core ideals. We set the greatest standards for our pupils to reflect the lofty aspirations of our families. We anticipate that everyone of our students will give everything they have to their academic work, behaviour, and conduct. We continue to provide a widening selection of disciplines and credentials in addition to a completely comprehensive and balanced curriculum. To further their overall development and educational experience, our students are also given access to a wide variety of extracurricular possibilities. I am incredibly proud of everything that our institution continues to do as a former student of Canon Palmer Catholic School. With the solid support of our principles and faith, we celebrate our ongoing victories and accomplishments.
