I'd want to use this chance to extend a warm welcome to Palace Wood Primary School. We are a primary school with a two-form entrance system, two buildings, and magnificent grounds. We can provide them the "best of both worlds" by having two buildings since we can be both exclusive and inclusive at the same time. Through a variety of activities, we make sure that all of our kids have the chance to interact with others while also having the chance to grow in their independence and sense of self. Over the past few years, the school has had some outstanding triumphs in both academic and extracurricular fields. In light of the July 2017 Ofsted inspection, Palace Wood is currently rated as a GOOD school. This is backed up by our academic results, which regularly place us in the top 20% of schools nationally, and our non-academic successes, in areas such as sports, where we compete and are successful in a range of sporting competitions. At Palace Wood, we are incredibly proud to offer a broad and balanced curriculum, which focuses on the needs and experiences of the children, and develops enquiring minds. With the goal of forming well-rounded kids, we provide the kids a wealth of learning possibilities to enrich their education. Our approach to education is all-encompassing, and it begins in foundational classes, where we try to foster a love of learning. We want our children to be independent, self-motivated learners who are inquisitive, who persevere, who are happy, positive and determined, and most of all, proud of themselves. We want our kids to set wonderful examples for one another by being responsible, courteous, honest, and compassionate.
