Do not send your child here I'm so glad my child doesn't go here anymore she never got the help and support from the staff they are nasty liers and two face The safeguarding is poor All staff are bullies they like kicking your child out for no reason and when a teacher hurts your child and you complain they kick them out the gov off the school don't listen to the parents or children...

My Grandchild attends Outwood Academy and am sad to say that is one of the worst schools I have ever come across. Apart from one teacher who understood and responded really well to the issues in hand, unfortunately the majority of teachers that are involved have no interest, are unresponsive to requests to discuss the issues. Any overtures to contact anyone at the school are ignored. My daughter has sent emails which go unanswered, has...
We viewed a number of local schools as we live in Thirsk with our daughter, this included Thirsk, Ripon (both), Rydale and Easingwold. We all felt Easingwold felt much better than the others, organisation, appearance, discipline, resources, staff we met, subjects covered and even the food we sampled, we feel very fortunate that our daughter has been offered a place and we are looking forward to following her progress.
