From the Oliver Goldsmith Primary School
Oliver Goldsmith Primary School is a community school run by Southwark Local Authority, and our staff members are typical of both our institution and the neighbourhood. Our strong connections with the outside world give our students special opportunities, allowing them to benefit from our location on the outskirts of the vibrant and busy Camberwell and Peckham neighbourhoods as well as our proximity to some of the most exciting educational destinations in the capital. Reception to Year 6 are served by our school, which also has a daycare and offers full- and part-time spots. We are housed in two Victorian structures that are joined by a contemporary addition. Our deliberate transition from three forms to two forms of admission is almost complete, giving our students more playtime and educational possibilities. Oliver Goldsmith Primary is delighted to be a welcoming, multicultural school with a strong sense of family. In terms of progress, our school is in the top 10% nationwide. We provide a variety of extracurricular activities in addition to the National Curriculum before, after, and during school hours to further our goal of educating the whole child. The learning environment at Oliver Goldsmith Primary School is stimulating, healthy, safe, and—most importantly—exciting for everyone.
