From the Offa's Mead Academy
The Offa's Mead Academy is located in Chepstow on the English side. Sedbury and the surrounding areas are included in its catchment area, which is managed by Gloucestershire Education. Our staff is committed to providing the finest possible start in life for the coming generation. The academy was built in 1967 and has 195 students enrolled in 7 classes at this time. New students are always welcome here. We will offer "taster sessions" where your child can come and get acquainted with the surroundings if they are attending the academy for the first time (for example, Reception). Similarly,we have dates where our Year 6 pupils will have sessions at a secondary school (for example Wyedean School) so they will be able to have a smooth transition between educational establishments. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with the school if you have any questions concerning any of the aforementioned topics or would like to talk about them in more detail.
