I hope you enjoy exploring our website and that it gives you a true sense of the warmth, generosity, and success that Oaklands strives to achieve. Located in Oaklands Village, our intake ranges from Old Hatfield in the south to Stevenage in the north. Parents picked us because of our welcoming and upbeat culture, our knowledgeable and approachable staff, and our innovative and imaginative teaching methods. We love our parent and local communities and think it's important to work together to help our kids reach shared objectives. At Oaklands, our guiding principles of kindness, integrity, and respect guide all we do. Our beliefs guide us in understanding how our behaviour and that of others affects the larger world outside of us. We follow an international curriculum at Oaklands. Our international approach creates global citizens, and by educating the kids about current events and human rights, we create aspirations that are constructive. We work to ensure that every child succeeds while they are here by providing outstanding care and a supportive environment. Our curriculum aims to inspire and excite the kids through engaging and enjoyable learning opportunities. We take pride in creating learners who take risks, are independent, resilient, and conscious of the fact that failures are a necessary part of the learning process. Oaklands "Pupils from all backgrounds are recognised as individuals and encouraged to flourish," according to Ofsted's report from September 2016. Above all, we seek to cultivate a generation of enquiring, technologically aware and creative children who enjoy learning, achieve their potential and can use their talents in their future world.
